Let us introduce you our friends from Pesaro Soviet Soviet: they are the new wave of the italian new wave.
Nowadays the music has changed and part of the change are the Soviet Soviet, these three guys: Alessandro, Andrea and Alessandro are ready to show to everyone how a mix of post-punk, new rave and new wave can be so sweet for the ears. With sounds that can refresh the “new thing” movement this brand new band, one year ago in Pesaro gave life to a project and now they have released their first EP “Soviet Soviet” where we can appreciate all the power that can only be done with an aggressive bass, a new uploaded drums beat and a crying guitar for create a cloudy atmosphere that can carry the melodies slowly by the air.
Directly from the band, here's their first rehersal, a great debut from one of the best new italian post punk projects. Soon to come the new split album with Frank Just Frank that will be released by Mannequin in October 2010. Be sure to check it out.
